Dave Lockie began creating hand thrown stoneware pottery in the beautiful Gallatin
Valley of Montana in 1980. His functional designs and beautiful glazes are acclaimed
in gift shops and galleries from coast to coast. With
the opening of Mountain Arts Pottery Studio and Gift store outside of Bozeman, Montana,
people are able to see him work as his own studio and be there when he opens his kiln.

Our shop is one of the most advanced hand made pottery studios in the business. Each piece is carefully thrown, put in the kiln, and glazed with quality material. Our glazes contain no lead and our pottery is microwave safe.
